Team NEED
The first team to present to the judging panel was Team NEED who detailed how their invention would cruise the oceans collecting plastic waste to improve the global environment, save wildlife and clean up plastics from our seas. Team NEED were awarded the Manor School 'Best Prototype Award'.
Team Planet Planters
Showed the panel of Governors and Lions how their device automatically roams over farmland, waste land and even rough jungle areas sowing seeds to increase diversity amongst all habitats. For this they received the Manor School 'Best Jingle Award'.
Team Hungry Humans
Invented a board game which lessens food waste by awarding points encouraging players to donate to food banks.
Team Turtles Go
Showcased their environment game which won them the manor School 'Best Poster Award'.
Planet Aliens
Displayed how their invention 'Food Fantastic Delivery' cuts down on food waste by detecting individual households food needs, ordering and delivering just what that family needs in an environmentally friendly way.
Team Super Smiley Medical Solutions
Were the overall Manor School ROAR 2022 Winners. See how their idea works to improve quality of medicines worldwide in their video below - which goes on to compete in the national finals in December.
